Bilona method of making Ghee:

  1. Milk is collected from free-grazed cows after calves are fed
  2. Milk is boiled over firewood.
  3. Overnight resting in earthen pots to make the whole curd.
  4. Curd is hand churned to get butter.
  5. Boiling evaporates water.
  6. Pure A2 Desi Ghee is obtained.

My grandparents have never consumed any ghee which is not home made (or non gir cow) and till date they've not found out that we have been serving them Monks' ghee ! I guess that's a win for us. True to the taste and quality !
